dealdrivr LLC ("dealdrivr," "we") runs this website and provides independent automotive consulting. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- What you give us. When you request an assessment, we collect your name, email address, state, the vehicle you are interested in, and anything optional you choose to add, such as lease or purchase, new or used, your timeline, a quote you already have, and notes.
- During an engagement. If you become a client, we also collect the information needed to do the work, such as your goals, dealer quotes, and contract paperwork you share with us.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider and font provider may receive basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, when you load the site.
Please do not send us Social Security numbers, bank account numbers or card numbers. We do not need them.
How we use it
- To reply to your request and provide our services.
- To communicate with you about your assessment or engagement, including by email.
- To contact dealers and get quotes on your behalf, when you have engaged us.
- To run, secure and improve the website, and to meet legal and tax obligations.
Deal information
If you become a client, our Client Services Agreement describes how we may use information about your completed deal. By default, we may publish an anonymized summary, such as the make and model and price or payment figures, without your name, contact details, address, VIN or dealer name, and you may opt out at any time. We share redacted copies of your deal documents only if you separately opt in.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business (for example, website hosting, form handling and email), with dealers when needed to get quotes for you, and when the law requires it. We do not accept money from dealers, lenders or shippers.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal, tax and record-keeping requirements. Assessment requests that do not lead to an engagement are deleted after a reasonable period.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, including secure connections and limited access. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you, by writing to hello@dealdrivr.us. We may need to keep certain records if the law requires it.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a new effective date.
